Brian has over 17 years' experience in all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, restructuring, and advisory work. During his career, Brian has been involved with numerous cross-border insolvency administrations covering different jurisdictions, including China, Taiwan, the US, the UK, Canada, the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, and the British Virgin Islands.

David has been advising state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, listed companies, private companies and high-net-worth individuals in relation to shareholder disputes, fund disputes, insolvency & restructuring, and general commercial disputes in the jurisdictions of the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. In 2019, David spent a year in the Cayman Islands on secondment and appeared as an advocate before the Grand Court.

He has appeared unled before an appellate court in Australia in proceedings concerning a jurisdictional challenge, and has acted in matters involving complex statutory construction, insolvency, and international sales disputes.
